A. THE "WHAT IF" EXPLORER
Energy Transition: Imagine a world where all energy must change. How would your day change if you could only use solar, wind, and tidal power?
Biotechnology: What if we could use advanced biotechnology to turn all plastic waste into fertile soil? How would this revolutionize our natural resource management and ecosystem health?
Resource Scarcity: What if the global availability of rare metals for electronics was cut by 90%? How would this affect your personal use of and your personal design of new devices?
B. RESOURCE OBSERVATION
Water Sources: Investigate your local environment: Identify three local sources of drinking water and trace where they come from (e.g., rivers, borewells). Observe their cleanliness.
Construction Audit : Go to a local construction site or roadwork. Observe and list five different natural resources being used, categorizing them as renewable or non-renewable.
Recycling Log: Observe your household for one week. Make a list of all items that were recycled and identify which common material (paper, plastic, metal) was recycled the most.
